Product Description:

A family of low-cost, reusable strain relief cable fittings for high capacity assemblies where power has to be fed into an enclosure through a bulkhead or wall.

Application:

The Z-Series is for use in appliances, controls, instruments and other equipment designed for North America and /or international markets where UL, VDE, KEMA and SEMKO standards are accepted.

Advantages:

• Reusability allows for easy replacement of the cable or cord while model Z remains securely attached to the host equipment thus eliminating the risk of losing the strain relief in the process.
• Snap-fitted base for quick and easy, low force installation eliminates the need to use a locknut! No special tools required - the installer simply snaps the assembly into the panel (see knock-out diagram below).
• An edge-slide version is available (shown left). Simply sliding this model Z into its U-shaped panel cut-out facilitates extremely fast and easy assembly line installation. Your installers will like it.
  
• Model Z8.5 with Pg threaded base [shown below] provides IP 67 liquid tight protection, requires locknut and liquid tight washer.

Ship your product with the Z-Series Strain Relief Fitting pre-installed. The cord or cable can be attached later in the country of destination with a power cord of choice specific to the destination's country requirements. Ever changing requirements in the destination countries? Your distributor or customer abroad can take care of this for you.
