Product Description:

A family of reusable power connection boxes with integral terminal block for use in appliances and other places where power has to be fed into an enclosure through a bulkhead or wall. Four different models AK, HAK, GA and GA-S (as shown left with power cord installed, optional fuseholder and protective earthing tab) are offered.

Application:

This Power Connection Box is for use in appliances, controls, instruments and other equipment designed for North America and international markets where UL, VDE, KEMA and SEMKO standards are accepted.

Advantages:

Reusability allows for easy and safe replacement of the power cord from the outside, should this ever become necessary
Snap-fitted base for quick and easy installation; no special tools required (see knock-out diagram below)
Pressure plate type terminals accommodate a wide range of solid and stranded wire AWG 8-18
Field and factory wires can be attached outside the equipment before installation of the Power Connection Box
Optional grounding tab provides safe & quick protective earthing closest to the cable entry
Optional integral fuse is available on model GA-S

New model AK (as shown left) mounts flush with minimal protrusion. The power cord
enters at an almost 90° angle, thus minimizing space requirements between your host appliance and a wall.

The field wiring can then be completed in the country of destination with a power cord of choice specific to the destination's country requirements. Ever changing requirements in the destination countries can be taken care of by your local distributor.
